Police take over burglars on the substation - escape ends in the hospital!

In the night from Friday to Saturday, police officers arrested two men on the premises of a substation in Recklinghausen. An attentive witness had reported unauthorized persons on the fenced property on Kusenhorster Straße around 1:30 a.m. When the police arrived, the two men tried to escape the arrest, however, were quickly set.

The 39-year-old arrested was seriously injured when he was escaped and had to be taken to the hospital with an ambulance. His accomplice, 34 years old, was brought to the police station. When searching a car parked nearby, the emergency services found alleged thief tools that were ensured. The investigation into attempted theft is underway.
