Police Hamm starts traffic controls: security for our children!

Hamm, Deutschland - The Hamm police are on the safe side! On Tuesday, June 3, extensive traffic controls took place throughout the city as part of the nationwide "Safe.mobil.leben" campaign. From 7 a.m. to 3 p.m., the officials were ready to check the correct securing of children in the car. The message is clear: security for the little ones must be a top priority!

The police want families to travel safely. Therefore, special requirements for child locking were conveyed: babies up to 1.5 years have to be transported in a reverse baby seat, while children from 1.5 years of age need a child seat with 5-point belt or fishing body. Seat increases are recommended for older children, ideally with backrest and side supports. From the age of 12 or a height of at least 1.50 meters, special child seats can be dispensed with. Security is going on - for careful driving!
