Police Höxter flashed speed: Rectarter with 99 km/h!

On Thursday, May 29, the Höxter police carried out a targeted traffic control on the L 828 in Neuenheerse despite the holiday. In a 70 km/h zone, the officers checked the speed of the drivers for two hours. The result? Five speed violations, including a special “day winner”: a 44-year-old woman from the district of Lippe raced through the control at 99 km/h. There were also four warning funds and a payment certificate, while two belt violations and three stop signs were also found.

Two groups of motorcycles, consisting of five to eight drivers each, also noticed and were obviously too fast. The police stopped the drivers and carried out so -called citizens' talks. The motorcyclists were self -critical and admitted to having driven too quickly. This preventive measure was received positively, and the bikers thanked the officials for the conversation.
