Police checked traffic: children in the focus of the security campaign!

As part of the Europe -wide Action Week Roadpol "weaker road users", the Langenselbold police station carried out intensive traffic controls on Tuesday. The goal was to protect children in road traffic, especially near schools and daycare centers. Already in the morning the bringing traffic before the start of school was carefully examined, with the officials also looking for dialogue with drivers to point out the importance of consideration.

A total of 61 vehicles and their drivers were checked, with the police found 39 speed violations. A violation had a violation. In addition, a driver was caught at the wheel when telephoning. In total, the traffic offenders now have to pay 1,400 euros in cosmopolitan funds. The police are planning to continue such measures in the future in order to permanently improve the safety of weaker road users, especially children.
