In a spectacular week, the security of two-wheelers was the focus of the police: the 2-wide traffic safety campaign 2-Wheeler brought numerous controls between Wednesday and Friday. Motorcyclists, scooters, e-scooters and pedelecs were put through their paces, and the balance sheet was alarming!

In Haltern am See, the officers met with considerable defects: a motorcycle had to be shut down due to defective brakes and shock springs, while another due to its deafening background noise was confiscated. There were also a number of speed violations, and an E-Scooter driver was faced with a complaint about the violation of the compulsory insurance law.
