Police stops small vans: 300 kg cannabis secured!

In an impressive night campaign, officials from the Münster motorway police stopped a van, which was loaded with over 300 kg of fresh cannabis plants. The control took place in the early morning of May 23 at the Karthaus rest area on the A43. When the police opened the rear doors, they were overwhelmed by an intensive cannabis smell, and the discovered plastic bags and boxes left no doubt about the illegal load: these plants would be suitable for the production of around 75 kg marijuana.

The driver, a 58-year-old Dutchman, was arrested immediately and brought to police custody in Dülmen. The small van and the entire load were confiscated. This spectacular discovery shows how vigilant the police are in combating drug trafficking.
