Police draws positive balance after motorcycle controls in Ludwigsburg

In bright sunshine and temperatures around 30 degrees, the Ludwigsburg police headquarters ended the motorcycle control campaigns for the month of May on Saturday, May 31, 2025. Between 1:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m., three checkpoints were set up in the Vaihingen region at the EnZ, where 1,090 motorcycles and drivers were checked. The result: Six road users crossed the permissible maximum speed by more than 40 km/h and have to expect a driving ban.

The technical review of the motorcycles was largely positive. Most vehicles were classified as well -kept, while illegal changes, especially those for increasing the noise, were found, but did not represent the main problem. In addition, the Ludwigsburg police headquarters offered a prevention campaign on the hiking car park near Gündelbach, which, among other things, presented historical police motorcycles and was looking for a conversation with bikers.
