Police European Championship of women: Lohne is preparing for spectacle!

From June 17th to 22nd, 2025, Lohne becomes the stage of the 4th European police championship in women's football! Eight teams from Germany, Norway, France, the Netherlands, Austria, Sweden, Great Britain and Ireland compete against each other in gripping matches. The games take place in the Heinz Dettmer Stadium and in the Syntech Arena.

The preparations are in full swing and the tension grows! The event is organized by the Central Police Directorate in Lower Saxony in close cooperation with the Oldenburg police department. This championship is also supported by the Lower Saxony Minister of the Interior, Sport and Digitization, Daniela Behrens, under the motto “Democracy, equality and international coexistence”. While the opening ceremony is not public, press representatives are cordially invited to register by June 9, 2025. Be there when history is written!
