Prevention event in the Main-Taunus: Together against child abuse!

Hofheim, Deutschland - On May 27, 2025, an important prevention event took place in the Hofheim district office as part of the Hesse -wide initiative "#aktionschild - broke your silence". Around 100 specialists from kindergartens and primary schools in the Main-Taunus district took part in dealing with suspected cases of sexual violence on children. In her inspiring opening speech, the leading criminal director Carina Lerch emphasized how crucial it is to protect children and sensitize specialists: "Every child we can protect against sexual abuse is worth every effort."

The event not only offered knowledge transfer, but also the opportunity to ask individual questions and promote dialogue. As a crowning glory, the speakers received sweet strawberries from Kriftel - a small, grateful greeting in the middle of a serious topic.
