Cycling measurements in the Märkisches Kreis: Renery on our streets!

In an exciting use of the Märkischer district police, speed -monitoring measurements were carried out at several locations on June 9, 2025. In Plettenberg Mühlhoff, on the L561, a total of 799 vehicles were recorded between 12:10 and 5:00 p.m. A frenzied driver was caught at a speed of 82 km/h at permitted 50 km/h. There were a total of 29 administrative offenses and 78 warnings, but fortunately the driving bans failed.

Another location in Plettenberg-Eiringhausen on Affelner Straße showed even more spectacular results! 1,360 vehicles were recorded between 12:41 and 5:00 p.m. Here a motorcyclist was flashed with a breathtaking 99 km/h at 50 km/h! The control resulted in 10 administrative offenses and a driving ban. These lightning -fast surveillance actions by the police illustrate the urgency to comply with speed limits.
