A 64-year-old cyclist was injured on Tuesday, June 10, 2025, in a traffic accident at the Paris goal in Mainz. The incident occurred around 11:45 a.m. when the man, despite red light at the traffic light, crossed the Geschwister-Scholl-Straße on the foot and bike path.

He was recorded by a 66-year-old driver who wanted to turn from Geschwister-Scholl-Straße towards Pariser Straße and Autobahn. The cyclist fell and suffered a headplace wound. He was immediately taken to a hospital for further examination. The police are now investigating the exact course of the accident.
