Cyclists dies after a tragic fall in Reutlingen - investigations run!
A tragic incident occurred on Monday afternoon in Reutlingen when a 51-year-old cyclist died after a fall. The man was on Wörthstraße in the direction of Pfullingen shortly before 12:30 p.m. when he fell for previously unknown medical reasons. Despite immediate help from first aiders and the emergency services that took him to the hospital, his life could not be saved. The Tübingen traffic police started the investigation.
In a further incident, a 70-year-old pilot was forced on Monday afternoon to carry out an emergency landing with his glider on a meadow plot after the thermal had suddenly broken off. Fortunately, he was unharmed, and his plane and the property remained undamaged. In the meantime, two young people, 16 and 17 years old, were arrested after an explosion of a cigarette vending machine in Ziegelhofstrasse and confronted with evidence such as cigarette boxes. The search was supported with a police helicopter. Several other traffic accidents also occurred on Monday, including a heavy collision at a red traffic light and another accident, in which a 19-year-old driver fled after a collision with two pedestrians.
