At midday at 12:30 p.m., a serious traffic accident shook Ulm! A 45-year-old Seat driver turned left into Karlstrasse from Frauenstrasse and overlooked a 30-year-old cyclist who had the right of way and crossed the Frauenstrasse from Michelsberg. The collision was violent: the cyclist was thrown over the car and had to be taken to the hospital with serious injuries - and that without wearing a protective helmet!

The police estimate the property damage at around 3,300 euros. The Seat driver now has to adjust to a criminal complaint.
