Unterweid, Deutschland - On Pentecost Sunday there was a dramatic accident at the Rhön Radmarathon! On the route between Unterweid and Kaltenwestheim, two cyclists collided when one of them turned his bike and overlooked the others. The collision was violent: one of the cyclists brutally plunged into a ditch and briefly lost consciousness. He was immediately taken to the clinic to be medically treated.

The other participant also fell, but only suffered minor injuries. Property damage was found on both bicycles. The scene on Sunday was full of excitement when rescue workers and paramedics were quickly on site to help. An accident that shows how dangerous the competition can be despite all the passion!
