Räuber duo attacks pensioners in Ilmenau-police investigated!

On Saturday afternoon, around 12.30 p.m., a suspected robbery shook the peace in Ilmenau! A motorcycle with two people parked in front of a shopping market on Oberpörlitzer Strasse. Suddenly the passenger jumped off and tried to snatch her handbag from the 66-year-old customer. The woman screamed for help, which caused the perpetrator to refrain from his project. Together the two suspects fled without prey.

But that wasn't all! Just a short time later, in Lindenstrasse, the passenger again rose: he tore his handbag out of his hand when driving past a 76-year-old woman. Fortunately, both women remained unharmed. Intensive investigations finally led to a 42-year-old and a 45-year-old man from the district of Schmalkalden-Meiningen, against which it is now being investigated. The police started the investigation!
