Sankt-Franziskus-Straße, 40472 Düsseldorf, Deutschland - In a dramatic street robbery in Düsseldorf-Rath, a 65-year-old man was victim of two violent offenders. On the night of June 11, when the senior returned to his house on Sankt-Franziskus-Straße, he was suddenly attacked from behind. The robbers pulled him to the ground with a jerk on his backpack, hit him and robbed his wristwatch, cash and backpack.

When the man called for help loudly, the attackers let off from him and fled with their prey towards Arag-Platz. The police describe the two perpetrators as youthful, with one larger and slimmer with light hair, the other a little smaller with long dark hair and beard, dressed with a black jacket and gray-white pants. The police are urgently looking for witnesses who can provide corresponding information on 0211-8700.
