Robbery attack on 68-year-old: Dortmund police are looking for witnesses!

Katharinenstraße, 44135 Dortmund, Deutschland - On Wednesday afternoon, June 4, a 68-year-old Dortmund woman was victim to a brutal robbery in the city center. The still unknown perpetrator spoke to the woman on Katharinenstrasse and led her towards the Westentor stop. Since the senior is almost blind, she was difficult to orientate herself. Suddenly the stranger opened the backpack and the woman's pockets. When she called for help loudly, the attacker hit her with her fist and threw her to the ground.

The Dortmund police are now looking for witnesses to the incident. The fleeting perpetrator is described as 20 to 30 years old, with Western European appearance and an athletic stature. She tied long, dark blonde hair to a braid, wearing a white t-shirt and dark pants as well as gray or dirty white sneakers. The woman spoke German with an unknown accent. Notes on the perpetrator are urgently requested.
