Rioting youngsters: police ended Wilde celebration in Bonn

On Wednesday evening, May 28, 2025, there was a tumulty meeting of 80 to 100 young people in front of a clubhouse on Friesdorfer Strasse in Bonn. They had gathered to take part in a private celebration unauthorized. Despite repeated requests to move away, many remained on site.

A 16-year-old got into a turmoil during the incident and threw an e-cigarette towards the incoming police officers, which slightly injured a police officer. A 17-year-old was also aggressive and resisted the police measures. Both young people were temporarily arrested, but released again after a detectional treatment. Since the disturbances were reserved by other small groups, the celebration was finally ended at 11:30 p.m. on the advice of the police.
