Rapid escape in Tiergarten: 17-year-old crash in police cars!
In a spectacular chase in Berlin-Tiergarten, there was a dramatic incident during the night. A 17-year-old Audi driver refused to undergo a traffic control, and raced through the streets at around 2:45 a.m., ignored red traffic lights and accelerated. The driver got into a dangerous situation when his escape route was blocked on Potsdamer Strasse. He crashed into a waiting police vehicle with full force that is no longer ready to drive.
After the violent impact, the young driver and his three occupants fled on foot, but the police were able to quickly arrest the 17-year-old. Both police officers who were sitting in the radio car were injured - one on the back, the other suffered wounds on the head, hand and thighs. Rescue workers ensured that they were taken to the hospital. The driver was traveling without a valid driving license and stated that he was unharmed. The Audi and a suspicious mobile phone were confiscated, while the investigation continues to suspect a forbidden race, accident escape and negligent bodily harm.
