In a shocking incident in Herne-Baukau, a 36-year-old man was victims of a robbery on Wednesday evening, June 11th. Around 11:10 p.m., when he got up the stairs of the "Schloß Strünkede Castle" subway stop to nearby pizzeria, he was suddenly attacked by two perpetrators from behind. The criminals beat him down and snatch his bag and mobile phone before they disappeared in the dark.

The Bochum police are now looking for witnesses who can provide information about the fleeting perpetrators. The responsible criminal commissioner 35 has started the investigation and asks the population to report on telephone numbers 02323 950-8505 or 02323 950-4441
