Smoke development on cars: Hünxe fire brigade saves quickly and effective!

In den Elsen, Hünxe, Deutschland - On June 5, 2025, the Hünxe volunteer fire brigade was called to a dramatic operation on the street in the Elsen at 3:22 p.m. Alarmed by smoke on a car, the emergency services reacted at lightning speed and made their way to the fire.

When they arrived, the firefighters discovered that the brake of the vehicle was overheated. To prevent worse things, they cooled the brake drum and the surrounding components with a small extinguishing device. With a thermal imaging camera, they then checked the affected parts to ensure that there was no further danger. The entire use lasted about 30 minutes and was successfully completed.
