Raid on the A43: 300 kg cannabis discovered in small vans!

In the early Friday morning in Dülmen, police officers stopped a van, which transported over 300 kilograms of cannabis plants. The driver, a 58-year-old Dutchman, was stopped at the Karthaus rest area on the A43 at 00:45. When the officers opened the rear doors, a strong cannabis smell struck them that revealed the cargo as freshly harvested plants - enough to produce about 75 kilograms of marijuana.

The van and the illegal cargo was confiscated and the driver was admitted to the police custody in Dülmen. At the request of the Münster public prosecutor's office, custody was ordered, while the investigation by the criminal police in the Coesfeld district continued to run.
