Raid in Nörten-Hardenberg: drug drivers and 30 traffic violations!

In Nörten-Hardenberg, a large-scale traffic control was carried out on June 11, in which several authorities worked together, including a study group of the Lower Saxony Police Academy. This backing enabled the prospective police officers to experience valuable practical experience. In addition to the traffic controls from the main customs office of Braunschweig and the Federal Office for Logistics and Mobility, a 60-year-old driver from Bovenden was noticed that he had neurological abnormalities that could indicate drug use. A blood sample was carried out at the police station.

A total of 30 further traffic administration offenses were registered during the control day. The measures contributed to increasing traffic safety in the region and met with broad response.
