Rostock on alert: 22 game accidents in just 7 hours!

In an alarming night, the Rostock police headquarters registered a total of 22 game accidents between 8 and 9 June 2025. The vehicles remained undamaged in 21 of these incidents, but there were also severe collisions with wild animals that panicked some drivers.

On Whit Monday, a 25-year-old Audi driver crashed at 04:10 a.m. on the BAB 24 with a deer that tragically died. The Audi is estimated as total damage, with damage of around 10,000 euros. Another accident occurred on the B 191 just half an hour later at 4:50 a.m.: Despite braking, a 22-year-old VW driver could not prevent it with a deer. She was taken to a hospital for treatment with a shock. The damage to your vehicle amounts to around 7,000 euros.

The total balance of game accidents overall is terrifying: five of which occurred on highways, with 16 accidents associated with deer. In addition, two injured deer had to be redeemed by shots by the police. The total damage to the vehicles is estimated at over 40,000 euros.
