Schleuser at large: border controls at Zittau show failure!

on June 4, 2025, at 1:15 p.m., the federal police stopped a Czech car on the B178n at Zittau as part of increased border controls. A 47-year-old Czech sat at the wheel, while three Syrians aged 15 to 53 and a 20-year-old Syrian were involved in the car. The group was only able to show Bulgarian cards for subsidiary protection and had no further documents with them.

After the necessary police measures, the Syrian nationals were rejected to Poland. However, the driver, alleged smuggler, was able to stay at large while the authorities continue their missions.
