Kehl, Deutschland - The Federal Police successfully prevented an illegal smuggling of two Venezuelans to Germany on May 27. During a check at the Kehl-European border crossing, a 51-year-old Italian was arrested as a driver of a motorhome. He tried to bring the two Venezolans across the border unauthorized, although they could not present any valid papers.

A 28-year-old Venezuelan has been illegally in the Schengen area since 2023. Both were immediately rejected to France, while an investigation was initiated against the Italian due to attempted interrogation of foreigners. The federal police's actions illustrate the ongoing efforts to stop illegal entry.
