A dramatic night in Reutlingen! A 43-year-old resident had to go to the hospital on a Schmorbrand in Peter-Rosegger-Straße because of a slight discomfort. The fire, which broke out around 5:30 p.m., led to property damage of around 50,000 euros. Around 30 firefighters quickly brought the flames under control, while 30 residents had to be temporarily evacuated, but were soon able to return to their apartments.
In the meantime, a traffic accident between two cyclists near the Echazufer occurred on Wednesday. A 34-year-old and a 36-year-old pedelecist were injured and taken to the hospital. A 54-year-old driver also collided with a 69-year-old driver, which led to minor injuries and property damage of around 18,000 euros.
