On the evening of May 31, 2025, a dramatic traffic accident occurred on the L 615 between Werlaburgdorf and Heiningen. A Ford and a Nissan collided in meeting traffic for an unknown cause. Two people each sat in the two vehicles, including an 18-year-old driver and his 7-year-old passenger.
