Shock in Homburg: Young person injured child in a pedestrian zone!

On Friday evening, May 30, 2025, there was a terrifying argument in the pedestrian zone in front of the aquarium in Homburg around 7:00 p.m. A 12-year-old boy was apparently injured in the face by an approximately 16-year-old youth. The incident occurred on the busy corner of Eisenbahnstraße/Talstraße, where the young person was accompanied by five friends, but which did not intervene.

The police are now investigating and looking for other witnesses to bring light into the violence situation. Fortunately, the child's injuries were classified as easy, but the incident raises questions. How could it get that far and why did the group of friends remain idle?
