In an unusual incident in Idar-Oberstein, an unoccupied regular bus rolled down a sloping road on Tuesday afternoon and crashed into a house head-on. Fortunately, there were no people present on the bus or in the affected family home - there were no injuries.

The impact left visible damage to both vehicle and buildings, the costs of which cannot currently be quantified. A specialized specialist company was consulted for the rescue of the bus, while the statics of the damaged house were checked by experts.
