A tragic accident report from Königslutter: On June 5, 2025, around 9:33 a.m., a 95-year-old pedestrian was recorded by a VW Up, who was directed by a 74-year-old driver. The older lady was changing the pedestrian crossing when the driver apparently noticed her too late.

The seriously injured pensioner was immediately taken to the Helmstedt Clinic, where she unfortunately succumbed to her injuries. The police have received the investigation into the incident.
