On Wednesday afternoon, a serious accident occurred on the new street in which a 52-year-old cyclist was injured. The police report that a man with his Fiat Punto wanted to overtake the cyclist when the woman suddenly steered left and collided with the vehicle.

The injured received immediate medical help from the emergency services and was then taken to the hospital. The total damage to the car and bicycle amounts to around 4,000 euros. The investigation into the course of the accident is running.
