On May 24, 2025, a dramatic accident on the B272 near Schwegenheim occurred at 9:35 p.m. A 23-year-old VW driver from the Südliche Weinstrasse district wanted to drive from the K2 to the right to the B272, but overlooked the right of way of a 39-year-old Skoda driver. It crashed violently in the confluence area of ​​the streets - the impact left damage of around 4,000 euros!

The Skoda driver was medical care at the scene of the accident, but did not have to go to the hospital. Due to the cleanup, the B272 was temporarily closed towards Schwegenheim. The destroyed vehicle was no longer ready to drive and had to be towed. Another fright for those involved!
