Terrible rear -end collision on the A1: Four vehicles affected!

Autobahn 1, 28816 Stuhr, Deutschland - on May 31, 2025, at around 10:25 a.m., a serious traffic accident occurred between the Groß Ippener junction and the Stuhr motorway triangle. A 61-year-old Skoda driver from Bad Sobernheim had to brake due to traffic, which surprised a 75-year-old Kia driver from Solingen. This noticed the sudden braking too late and crashed into the rear of the Skoda.

The situation continued to escalate: A 65-year-old driver of a VW van from Harpstedt could stop in time, but the following 82-year-old Renault driver from Wuppertal reacted too late and rammed the van. The accident led to a significant traffic jam and made the use of rescue workers necessary. Fortunately, those involved were largely unharmed, but the consequences of the rear -end collision should not be underestimated.
