Terrible crash on B75: Saved truck drivers in an emergency!

On Friday afternoon, a serious traffic accident between a truck and an agricultural team occurred on the federal road 75 between Rotenburg and Waffensen. The collision was so violent that the truck's cab was torn down from the chassis and the driver was caught in it. The fire brigades from Rotenburg, weapons and Sottrum, which initiated a technical rescue, immediately reacted. With the support of the emergency services and an emergency doctor, the emergency services managed to free the driver with patient and transport them to the hospital.

When inspecting the truck, it turned out that the load, a container with a water -polluting liquid, was also damaged. Fortunately, there was no danger to the emergency services at any time, but experts for hazardous substances were called to monitor the situation. The assignment lasted until around 11:00 p.m. before the scene of the accident was handed over to the road maintenance department. Information on the amount of damage and the cause of the accident were not given.
