Terrible frontal collision in Neckargerach: three seriously injured!

Neckargerach, Deutschland - Monday afternoon the Landesstraße 633 near Neckargerach became the scene of a dramatic frontal collision between an Audi and an Opel. A 34-year-old was traveling towards Neckarkatzenbach with his Opel when he collided with the oncoming Audi of a 70-year-old for reasons that have so far been unexplained. A 61-year-old was sitting on the passenger seat of the Audi. The impact was so violent that all three occupants were caught in their vehicles.

Fire brigade had to move out to free the injured people. All three suffered serious injuries and were immediately flown to surrounding hospitals - two of the injuries even with rescue helicopters. The total damage at the scene of the accident is estimated at around 40,000 euros. The Weinsberg traffic inspection has initiated investigations into the cause of the accident. The section of the route is currently blocked in both directions.
