Terrible accident on Bergstrasse: Postal car completely destroyed!

On Thursday morning at 11 a.m. there was a serious traffic accident on Bergstrasse in Vollersode. In the collision between a tractor-trailer and a yellow postal vehicle, a 57-year-old man was seriously injured at the wheel of the post bus. The 64-year-old truck driver apparently overlooked the postal vehicle, which was pushed against a tree and completely destroyed.

The police have initiated criminal proceedings for negligent bodily harm to the truck driver. The exact circumstances of the accident are still unclear. Rescue workers hurried to the scene of the accident to supply the injured driver.
