Terrible accident in Reichensachsen: five injuries in collision!

On Whit Monday around 12:39 p.m., a serious traffic accident occurred on the B 452 in Reichensachsen. A 41-year-old woman from Schleusingen was on the road with her car when a 19-year-old man from Witzenhausen suddenly drove off the park strip into flowing traffic and overlooked the approaching car. There was a serious collision.

In addition to the two drivers, the three children of the 41-year-old, aged 1 to 14, were injured. All participants had to be brought to surrounding hospitals. Due to the accident, the passage through Reichensachsen remained closed until around 2:15 p.m., the traffic was diverted through surrounding towns. Both vehicles were no longer ready to drive after the impact and had to be towed.
