Shots on the open street: Two men seriously injured in Stuhr!

In the afternoon of April 5, 2025, around 3:30 p.m., there was a shocking incident on Delmenhorster Straße in Stuhr: two men were seriously injured when shots were fired from a passing car. The two victims were on a property together with friends when they were hit on the legs in a targeted manner. Immediate medical help was provided and the injured were taken to a hospital.

The public prosecutor's office in Verden has qualified as an attempted murder, which resulted in an immediate police reaction. A murder commission called "Container" was set up to clarify the dramatic events. In order to enable the reconstruction of the incident, Delmenhorster Straße (B 322) between intersection B 51 and the confluence with Diepholzer Strasse was closed for about an hour.
