Serious crimes: Federal Police take arrest warrants in Essen and Bochum

Essen, Deutschland - On June 11, federal police officers in Essen and Bochum have carried out several arrest warrants during controls. A 45-year-old man was arrested at Essen Central Station after the officials discovered an arrest warrant from the Marburg public prosecutor. He was sentenced to ten months in prison for attempted theft in 2018, but was suspended because he should go into weaning therapy. Since he had stopped this therapy, the punishment was now due and the police brought him to a correctional facility.

In the afternoon, the control in the same station led to the arrest of another 45-year-old man who is suspected of commercial theft. An arrest warrant from the Beckum District Court was also available against him, and he was taken into police custody. According to his statement, he is demonstrated to the judge. The intensive controls of the federal police clearly show that anyone who thinks that they can get away with it was wrong!
