Heavy frontal accident on B3: rescue workers in action!

This afternoon was a serious frontal accident between two cars at 1:35 p.m. on the federal road 3 between the Talbrücke and the Einbeck Ost exit. In this dramatic collision, two people were easily injured and one person seriously injured. Rescue workers, including the fire brigade, the THW and the emergency services, quickly hurried to the scene of the accident, where a rescue helicopter was used. The injured were immediately brought to nearby hospitals.

The police took over the accident recording and was supported by an external expert from Göttingen. The federal road had to be completely closed for several hours in order to safely carry out the accident recording and the rescue work. The traffic was diverted accordingly.
