Serious truck accident at the Karlsruhe motorway triangle: two injuries!

A serious traffic accident caused massive disorders in the afternoon traffic at the Karlsruhe motorway triangle on Tuesday afternoon! Around 4:00 p.m., a Dutch tractor-trailer, whose 55-year-old driver overlooked a VW Tiguan when changing lanes, crashed into the rear. The collision was violent: the Tiguan was thrown to the left and rammed a VW Caddy who was on the left lane.

The episode? Massive damage! Both vehicles are scrap and had to be towed. The highway and several elements of the concrete sliding wall also suffered damage. The total amount of the damage is estimated at around 37,000 euros. While the police started the investigation on site, road users have to prepare for longer waiting times - the cleanup will take some time!
