Heavy motorcycle accident: 18-year-old crashes against tree!

In the late Monday evening there was a dramatic traffic accident on the Landesstraße 3144 when an 18-year-old motorcyclist from the Vogelsberg district lost control of his Suzuki. The young driver raced from Lauterbach towards Sickendorf when he skidded for previously unknown reasons and crashed into a tree with full force. The attentive emergency services reacted quickly: the seriously injured motorcyclist was immediately flown to a hospital with a rescue helicopter.

The mischief not only left a total damage to the motorcycle, but also caused damage to traffic facilities, with an estimated total damage of around 3,000 euros. In order to clarify the mysterious circumstances of this terrible accident, the Gießen public prosecutor has commissioned an accident appraiser. The road conditions and the exact reasons for the accident remain in the dark.
