Heavy motorcycle accident at Marienmünster: driver in mortal danger!

On Friday, May 30th, a serious motorcycle accident occurred on the K64 near Marienmünster-Kollerbeck around 6:30 p.m. A 69-year-old motorcyclist from Höxter got off the road in a left-wing curve for unknown cause and had to be flown to the hospital with life-threatening injuries. The man's condition is still critical.

The serious accident led to an enormous traffic chaos: the K64 was closed to both directions for several hours, while an accident recording team from Paderborn carried out the examination at the scene of the accident. The property damage is estimated at around 8,000 euros, and the motorcycle is no longer ready to drive. The traffic disruptions continued until around 9:30 p.m. when the road was finally released.
