Serious motorcycle accident in Bilk: 58-year-old falls with overtaking maneuvers

On Monday afternoon at 12:30 p.m., a 58-year-old motorcyclist from Twist suffered serious injuries in the Bilk overtaking maneuver. The man was part of a Kradkolonne when he tried to overtake a car, but was forced to brake abruptly due to oncoming traffic. He lost control of his motorcycle and fell on a strip of green.

The traffic accident occurred near the number 36 and led to a considerable property damage of around 1,000 euros. The seriously injured driver was immediately admitted to a hospital with an ambulance where he was treated. The police have started investigations into the exact course of the fall.
