Serious bike accident in Bochum-Hordel: 59-year-old injured!

On Saturday afternoon, May 31, a serious bike accident occurred in Bochum-Hordel. A 59-year-old cyclist from Bochum was seriously injured. At 12.15 p.m. she and her 62-year-old companion, also from Bochum, drove with Pedelecs on the Erzbahntrasse towards Gelsenkirchen.

The cyclist tried to avoid a group of oncoming cyclists when an unfortunate incident occurred: she touched her companion's two -wheeler under unclear circumstances, and both plunged. The traffic commissioner has started the investigation into the exact circumstances of the accident.
