Serious accident on A61: Traffic between Speyer and Hockenheim flows again!

On Friday morning there was a serious traffic accident on the A 61 between Speyer and Hockenheim. After extensive accident recording and cleanup, the closures could finally be lifted around 9:30 a.m. Fortunately, the backlog that had formed was gradually dissolved.

Traffic on the A 61 towards Hockenheim is now running again. Emergency services were quickly on site and ensured that the traffic situation could be quickly brought back under control.
