Serious accident on B264: two injured and 35,000 euros in damage!

A serious traffic accident occurred on Wednesday morning (04.06.2025) on Langerweher Straße (B264) and left two injuries and an enormous property damage of around 35,000 euros. At around 11:30 a.m., an 84-year-old man out of Langerwehe raced unchecked the vehicle of an 83-year-old woman who was waiting at a red traffic light. The impact was so violent that the car's car overturned and landed on the roof.

Both the 84-year-old, who was seriously injured, and the 83-year-old, who had minor injuries, were immediately brought to hospitals with ambulances. The intersection had to be partially blocked for the accident recording, which led to extensive traffic redirects.
