Serious accident on B401: Truck driver injured at Surwold!

In the early Sunday evening, around 5:45 p.m., a serious traffic accident occurred on federal road 401 at Surwold. A 38-year-old driver steered his tractor with a loaded milk tank towards Oldenburg when he got off the road due to the cause. The vehicle hurled over the Berme and finally ended up in a sidelines.

The driver suffered serious injuries in the incident and had to be medical care immediately. The material damage amounts to around 25,000 euros. While the investigation into the cause of the accident is still ongoing, the incident remains a dramatic shock on the B401.
