Garz, Deutschland - On June 1, 2025, a dramatic traffic accident occurred on the L 29 between Putbus and Garz at 4:45 p.m. A 73-year-old driver from Osnabrück lost control of his BMW due to health problems. Shortly before Garz, the vehicle raced from the street and crashed into two street trees with full force. The driver and his 75-year-old wife, who was located in the passenger seat, were seriously, but not life-threatening and had to be brought to the Stralsund Clinic.
